Introduction to Creative Writing
Have you always wanted to try your hand at creative writing? Do ideas follow you around waiting to bloom into stories or poetry? Or did you used to write and would like to return to the page? This 6-week course is for those who want to begin a practice of writing. In a supportive and generous space, we will use writing prompts, readings and discussions about the elements of craft to create pieces and build a portfolio of your own work.

This series is designed for writers who already have drafts of work in progress that they want to workshop in a supportive environment. Participants practice their craft with a group of engaged writers and facilitator. This 6-week workshop will give you the opportunity to delve deeply into your writing, learn about the revision process and to hone your skills in reading other people’s work with a writer’s attention.

Workshops are $250 with a maximum of 5 participants. It will be held in my home located at Dundas and Dufferin.
